Recording Literary Insights: Exploring Sylvia Plath with Orange Data Mining and OBS
Using OBS Studio, students captured compelling visualizations created with Orange Data Mining to analyze themes, sentiment, and word patterns in Sylvia Plath’s poetry. OBS allowed for seamless recording of interactive workflows, data visualizations, and real-time interpretations, offering a dynamic way to document and present research on one of literature’s most introspective voices.
Student Work – Bauhaus Compilation with Shotcut
Description: This video showcases a compilation of Bauhaus-inspired artwork created by Graphic Design Students. The animation transitions through various artistic pieces, blending bold geometric shapes, vibrant colors, and modernist typography. The background music is instrumental, evoking a contemplative mood that complements the visual storytelling.
Students began their research using OneSearch, diving into academic articles, books, and multimedia resources to explore the philosophy and work of Bauhaus artists. From there, they used Google Scholar to access peer-reviewed articles for deeper insights and Zotero to organize their findings and manage citations efficiently. To engage closely with key texts, students utilized Hypothesis for collaborative annotation and Adobe Reader for detailed notes.
